We will work with you to create your own unforgettable Tanzania safari adventure. Choosing to come on safari with Heart of Africa means your trip supports local Tanzanian orphaned girls and provides education and income opportunities for women within our community.
Experience warm Tanzanian hospitality when you eat at our restaurant! Located on the ground floor of our lodge, with both indoor and outdoor seating and lounge areas, it is the perfect place to relax, relive your day, meet other travelers or locals, and make new friends. Enjoy a wide selection of Tanzanian beers, wines, mixed drinks, spirits, non-alcoholic drinks such as fresh juices and sodas. Typical breakfasts include fresh fruits in season, fresh fruit juice, free-range eggs, sweet potatoes, soups, breads, hot cereal, potatoes, made-to-order omelets, and pancakes. Finish your breakfast by enjoying a hot cup of coffee brewed from fresh, local beans or, savor a cup of traditional “chai ya maziwa” (spiced milk tea). Lunches and dinners feature homemade soups, breads, a variety of fresh vegetables, and traditional Tanzanian dishes. Of course, we can accommodate most dietary needs too, just ask.
Our beautiful, landscaped gardens are the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Cool off in the shade surrounded by beautiful flowers and enjoy the sounds of songbirds around you. When it is cooler, guests can enjoy a fire next to the garden in the evening. There is plenty of outdoor seating and of course, a well-appointed bar that is open daily for snacks and beverages.

Our beautiful grounds have ample open areas to set up tents or other event décor providing an intimate, beautiful atmosphere. We can accommodate up to 250 people for events.
